This song uses four simple chords throughout almost the entire song. The Bm chord can be tricky, but in the video I show the MUCH easier Bm7, which is a open chord, so this song CAN be played without barre chords!

Personally, I find it much more useful to think of scale as intervals. With intervals, we can recognise the sound of the notes more easily and transpose different scales and shapes to other keys more easily.
