Syncopated Fingerstyle Pattern with C Major

Course: Fingerstyle Introduction, Minor keys and the A Minor Pentatonic Scale

In this video

Syncopated Fingerstyle Pattern with C Major. This lesson is from the Andy Guitar Beginner Guitar Course.

What is syncopation?

It's basically playing off the beat, not on the main pulses of the rhythm.

By adding this syncopation to our fingerstyle playing; it adds a lot more movement making it sound more interesting and exciting to the ear!

Using Fingerstyle to play Melodies

If you want to focus on the Fingerstyle method, I recommend trying the single note lines that we've covered in previous Jam Tracks using the Clawhand method = Thumb and Finger together.
