Both sounds need plenty of overdrive/ gain/ drive on your guitar amp.
Lightsabre
Turn volume down on guitar
Pick thickest E string
Roll volume up and down on guitar to taste!
R2D2 Sounds!
Mute (lightly touch) open strings with fretting hand
Get a pen (keep lid on!)
Tap thinnest 2 strings near the pickups!
