In this video I tackle how we can do an acoustic cover of the 80s classic 'Sledgehammer' by Peter Gabriel!
This cover and lesson was inspired by the Harry Style cover that has been popping up in my YouTube feed. It got me thinking - is it possible to cover this on acoustic? the main thing I learned from attempting this is what phenomenal singers Peter Gabriel and indeed Harry Styles are, and for the perspective alone it's been a worthy exercise.
I decided to make a video of this not because I do it particularly well, but because I love taking on a challenging cover, i love watching other people take risks with the songs they cover - and I want to inspire you to tackle songs outside your comfort zone!
