Here's how to play Mustang Sally, a well known favourite of cover bands all over the world.

Written and originally performed by Sir Mack Rice (little known blues singer, first released in 1965) it's the Wilson Pickett cover and the fab movie 'The Commitments' that people know the song best.

It's best to think of this song as a 'double 12 bar blues', or a 24 bar blues... as I describe in the video

Capo at 3rd fret to play along to the Wilson Pickett or Commitments recordings, but it's better for most beginners to have play and sing along without a capo in the key of A.
