Lesson aims

  • Learn how to incorporate vibrato when singing a line by using our core (diaphragm)

  • Try to control the vibrato to switch it 'on and off'

Exercise 1 - Switching vibrato on and off

  • Take a deep breath, from the diaphragm and in your lungs to prepare for a long held note

  • Hold a note in a comfortable range and try to add vibrato on and off whilst singing

  • Try experiment with slower and faster vibrato to really enhance the vocal lines
