Vertical 3 Note Per String Runs 1

Lesson 5 looks at runs moving across the strings in one position. Here we're playing an ascending pattern with groups of six notes using combination picking. This exercise can be great as a part of your warmup routine.

E minor scale

Here we're using the E minor scale at the 12th fret. On the lower strings we move down to use the 10th fret to keep the 3-note-per-string pattern going across every string.
