Shifting positions with the minor pentatonic scale
In this lesson we're looking at minor pentatonic runs in position 1, also utilising notes from the upper end of position 2. This can help us to get used to moving up and down the neck, rather than just staying in one position.

Diagram below shows the notes of A minor pentatonic position 1, which can be played starting at the 5th fret and also starting at the 17th fret, which would be an octave higher.
