'F That' is a slow acoustic pop track with a sound that was popularised in the 90s by acts such as Coldplay and Alanis Morissette. The idea is to give you a chance to play each chord with a single strum initially, then every 8 bars the chords mainly stay the same but the strumming becomes more complex.

This course now includes interactive TAB which is synced to video. Jam along with Andy and see TAB and fretboard visualisations brought to life in real time! Adjust the settings on the interactive TAB above to loop sections, slow down the tempo and add fretboard visualisations!
Walkthrough
Intro (Bars 1 - 4) Each chord is strummed once on beat 1. Note the repeat marks, which indicate that the music writ- ten in between these marks is played twice. When strumming only once per bar, use a slower motion so each string is hit one at a time, which is known as 'spreads'.
Verse (Bars 5 - 8) This uses the same chord sequence as above but the strumming is now on the beat.
Chorus (Bars 9-12) Same chord sequence again, only this time with 8th all down strumming with embellishments.
Middle 8 (Bars 13-20) A middle 8 section occurs just later than the middle of a song and tends to last around 8 bars. It can also include a new chord or two.
Chorus to end (Bars 21-25) This is a repetition of the chorus section we have already played. It is again repeated twice. The song ends on a C major chord played with a 'spread' strum.
