Aims

  • Play this chord sequence with the addition of a Cadd9 chord

  • Use the anchor fingers between the G, Cadd9 and D for smooth transitions

  • Try the Down - Down - Up - Up - Down strumming pattern

For this strumming pattern, the important thing is to keep your hand moving the same as your normal 8th strumming. If there’s a pause at any point, it will go wrong. This can be tough but you will get it! If you really struggle, you’ll want to master your Level 3 strumming before attempting this.
