E and A Chords - Jam Track 2

Aims

• Clear as possible sounding E and A major chords

• Smooth transitions between chords

• Evenly spread down strums on each beat of the bar

In this track, we're playing the E and A major chords for two whole bars before each change.

As we are strumming for two whole bars per chord, this gives us time to focus on placing the chords comfortably on the fretboard and getting the clearest possible sound.

We have a good amount of time in this track to think about the next chord coming in the sequence, so we can be ready to transition as smoothly as possible. Try planting the chord hand fingers on the fretboard evenly rather than one finger at a time.
