In this lesson we're playing the C chord with the E shape. As before we're not playing a full 6-string shape you may be more familiar with.
Instead we fret notes on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th strings and use the thumb to fret the 8th fret on the 6th string, as is super common with the players we're emulating here; Hendrix, Mayer and Frusciante.
