Unison bends are a great way to add electricity to a solo! This is when we play two notes, and bend the lower one up to the same pitch as the higher one. It gives a real "tearing" sound, and adds texture to the notes being played.
Lesson aims
- Learn to bend accurately to make sure the bent note matches the higher note
- Use your other fingers to support your bending finger
- Try this technique on different string pairs and in different positions on the neck
