This pattern is really similar to I Love Rock n Roll by Joan Jett. This riff is rock guitar 101, meaning it has all the ingredients of straight forward Classic Rock guitar playing and is a song well worth learning!

This simplified version is ideal for electric guitar with some overdrive, but can be played on acoustic guitars just the same.
