Then, we have a B minor pentatonic scale lead line to learn on screen; this also sets you up to start to improvise with this scale if you want to get stuck into owning your own melodies and lead lines.

Remember this is a barre chord work out, so if the strumming is tricky just stuck to on the beat and have fun!

Follow the lead line on screen for inspiration firstly and then develop ideas through improvisation from there as a jumping off point.

Once in that flow-state we can anchor the improvisations by referencing the root notes, high, middle and low, in the scale.

Remember that notes across the whole neck just repeat. Where a root note is means the same notes follow or sit behind it in any octave and any position on the neck!
