Intermediate Acoustic Essentials - Live Replay

In this video

In this weeks live session, we take a look at the key differences/ upgrades of the new intermediate acoustic syllabus, look ahead to this weekends member meet up in London, and answer questions and requests from live viewers.

New intermediate course, what are the key differences/ upgrades?

  • Follows same structure as beginners (previous one diverted because, frankly, they were originally filmed to fit on DVDs…)

  • 9 levels, Jam tracks, song recommendations & practice routines for every level

  • Removed the confusing “improver” level, with that level content folded into end of beginner and start of intermediate

  • filmed in 4k with modern onscreen graphics inc some totally new on screen graphics at level 6 which could be a game changer

  • Better setting up students for the current and future advanced courses that we do offer, or that we might offer in the future

  • David commented that an overview/ course index might be useful with so many new or overlapping courses. This is in the works, but rest assured, if you follow the main beginner > intermediate courses, you’re getting all the best lessons no matter what genre you’re into (other “overlapping” courses are either MUCH shorter (e.g. 10/ 14 day) or gener specific (e.g. fingerstyle, lead, acoustic blues or percussive fingerstyle)

  • If in doubt, just follow the new beginner to intermediate to get back on track and maximise your progress
