Strumming tips

• Small strumming motion

• Covering smaller area of the strings

• Minimal tension in strumming arm

Accented strumming

Beats 2 and 4 are the main beat but all the other beats are 'weaker' or quieter ideally

Using the thumb

This gives us greater control over the strings being played, means we have to be less accurate at times too
